“Kobe Kitano Asahiya Butcher Shop” is a Kobe beef specialty store founded in the Taisho era.
We are still particular about the “hang aging” method of carefully selected Kobe Beef Tajima Beef, which involves hanging the carcass to age the meat in the traditional way, and we offer Kobe Beef that not only looks marbled, but is actually delicious to eat.
We sell Kobe beef trimmings and tendon for everyday use, loin and tenderloin for gift items, and even items for sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, steak, and yakiniku at local prices. Please contact us if you have any questions about Kobe beef.

As of December 26, 2023, Kitano Kobo’s operations in the town have ended. Thank you very much for your help over the past 9 years. The new store will be located on the first floor of Luce Kitanozaka, 2-2-13 Yamamoto-dori, Chuo-ku, Kobe. Construction will begin in January 2024 and is scheduled to open on April 1, 2024.
